The following photographs are copies of slides from December 23, 1970, "Santa's visit".

Santa on the roof of the strip mall, being offered a ladder to get down and greet the base dependent children. The man in the dark suit is CDR. Morrison, the base commander.

On December 23, 1970 Navy personnel and their families are awaiting Santa Claus to hold court in the USNRST Bouknadel Movie theater and hand out presents. In this photograph are Ensign Wheeler's sons, Steve Ricketts, Carla Pennington, Commander Morrison and ET1 Tony Mastantuno and his wife.

Dependents, children and sailors crowded around Santa.

One child's expression said it all!
